Bank Holiday Madness

Yesterday we embarked on a hugely overdue day and night of eating, drinking and general debauchery with good friends.  We ate at Strada and then went on to a few bars in Clifton before heading into the city centre.  Despite feeling positively geriatric (Bristol is so young!!!) great fun was had and we eventually crawled home in the early hours.

Needless to say, today I'm feeling rather shabby.

Outfit-wise, I'm loving brights at the moment as you can see.

stripy minidress - H&M, black skinnies with the bottoms cut off - Primark, black gladiator heels - Zara, black leather clutch - vintage, various bangles and cuffs - high street

Awful photo, sorry, and how bad is the carpet in these toilets?!

Pe-e-e-e-e-ppa Pig!

Evening campers

Today we took the little people to see Peppa Pig's Party.  It was a bit of a trek (Bristol to Basingstoke) but it was for a special occasion - Pixie-face's second birthday on Thursday - and they absolutely loved the show.

Himself then cooked an amazing dinner and we counted the minutes until we could put the babes to bed!

Child friendly (and repeated) outfit below.

dip hem jersey dress - Primark, cardigan - All Saints, boots - Next kids, satchel - ASOS

Delicious roaster knocked up by Himself in record time

Erm, hello...

Well, it's been a while hasn't it?  The last time I posted we were still in the depths of winter, I seemed to have a permanent cold and my youngest, at 21 months, was yet to take her first steps.  Three and a bit months on and it's all changed; spring is well and truly here (hell, we even had a glimpse of summer during the Easter break), I now have permanent hayfever and my youngest is thundering around the place like Frankenstein on steroids.

The change of season of course brings the delights of new clothes and new looks and I'm really enjoying dressing for the warmer weather.  I feel that my work wardrobe could do with a bit of an overhaul but I'm pleased with how my casual one is shaping up and if I actually manage to get my A into G I may even share some of my more thrilling outfits with you.

So today we had a barbe with good friends their children.  It was a lovely afternoon - the kids played beautifully together and the adults enjoyed catching up over a few glasses of Thatchers.

Poor mirror shot to follow - unfortunately in my absence my photography skills have improved not one jot.

jeans - River Island, hot pink vest - Zara, grey scoop neck - TS, white flip flops - Havaiana, colbolt blue messenger - ASOS, watch - Next

Hope you're having nice weekends x
